I've been working on a script for an upcoming writing competition. The deadline is that the end of the month and while the script is done, another one popped into my head last night and I'm debating if that is the one I should end up submitting.
Overall it is going good. I like the story and think I did a good job with it. Could I do better, of course, but is it competition material...I honestly don't know. However, I can't stay in the dark and create in the shadows. How will I know if I'm ready? I don't think anyone ever really knows if they are ready, but I'm tired of waiting and there isn't any sign that says I'm on the right path so I just have to go out on hope and see what happens.
Regardless of what happens with the competition I'm moving forward with teaching myself how to make this happen. I'm going to have to accept the fact that I'm going to make some mistakes and not hit it out of the park everytime I go out but learn from that and see where it will take me.
I'm still working on the script for the next episode. I hope to get to recording it this weekend ofr early on next week so I can post on Nov. 16th. In that episode I go into detail about the next steps and what I'm working on moving forward. I worked on that plan some today (or at least did some brainstorming with it) and I feel pretty good about it. I better relax and get back to it tomorrow.
Send me good vibes and let's make sure this happens!
